A Labrador/German shepherd mix named Zoey has achieved the Guinness World Record for having the longest tongue on a living dog.
Zoey's tongue measures 12.7 centimeters (5 inches), surpassing the previous record held by Bisbee, whose tongue measured 9.49 centimeters (3.74 inches).
Zoey's owners, Sadie and Drew Williams, noticed her unusually long tongue when they got her at six weeks old, and it has remained large compared to her body as she has grown.
Despite her long tongue, Zoey enjoys outdoor activities like fetching balls, chasing squirrels, and swimming, although she dislikes taking baths.
Zoey has become popular among her neighbors, who find her endearing and occasionally get slobbered on when petting her.
