Jasprit Bumrah, a renowned pacer for the Mumbai Indians, is reportedly going to miss the entire IPL 2023 with a back injury he's been dealing with since last year. If India makes it to the ICC World Test Championship final in June, Bumrah could also be unable to play.

Bumrah had been sidelined with a back injury since the Asia Cup, but he made his comeback in September during a Twenty20 International series at home against Australia.

However, it flared up again, putting a stop to his participation in the T20 World Cup and also preventing him from traveling to New Zealand and Bangladesh later that year.

He was a late addition to the Indian side for a home white-ball series against Sri Lanka in January while still recovering at the NCA.

Bumrah complained of pain during the effort, and a new injury has since kept him from participating in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Cup.
